Why did we need this…
Users from first-time investors to active traders were regularly leaving the app to understand what was happening with their holdings. A portfolio going down with no explanation, or a stock moving with no context, creates anxiety and erodes trust. AI Chatbot let users ask, in their own words, what's going on and get an answer grounded in their actual portfolio.

So, what's next…
AI Analysis launched as an experimental feature. It was the first time AI had been integrated into the core Trading 212 experience. The design patterns it established like conversation UI, source attribution, and the thinking panel are already forming the foundation for the next iteration: instrument tagging via $ mention in the input, allowing users to bring any stock into the conversation mid-chat.
